Group Coaching: learn and discover together
If working with a coach one-on-one is like meeting with a skilled friend focused on helping you, group coaching brings you a community of people on a quest similar to yours - in addition to skillful guidance from the coach!
ADVANTAGES of GROUP COACHING
Learning together
Flexibility
Affordability
Learning side-by-side has advantages
Listening to a fellow-traveller speaking of their obstacles and concerns, and hearing their obstacles dealt with, is great for those who are less keen on being the centre of attention.

Oftentimes, their obstacles are your obstacles, and you go through the process of discovering new pathways 'by proxy', by watching them thinking things through.
Scope to raise the issues important to you
Group coaching is a flexible format.

Everyone in the session/s shares the overall theme, so it is valuable to all to include the scenario you're working through.

I aim to provide opportunities for everyone with a 'live' topic to get it addressed.
You share the learning, and the expense
The luxury of working with a coach one-to-one may not be right for you at this point.

Coaching in a group setting is very worthwhile, and you can always book the odd individual session to sort out any particularly troublesome niggles.
In a group setting, the intelligence of those in the room adds up - if galvanised by skilful guidance.
Formats of group coaching
Coaching format
Workshop
A workshop is similar to a training session, but with a greater focus on learning by doing. Typically, a workshop comprises a series of activities led by the workshop facilitator.

The structured sequence of activities keeps you building from one step to the next and making progress. The tasks are designed so that you can use them to apply to your own specific situation.

Course
Where a workshop is a one-off event, a course is a structured series of meetings aimed at helping you move forward on a specific topic.

A coaching course is unlike a training course, where you are mostly taking in information provided. Rather, a coaching course guides you through step-by-step tasks which you apply to your own project/situation, in a group setting. Tasks may be done individually, in pairs or in small groups.
Coaching format
Online Course
A coaching course is unlike a video course, which provides information and then leaves you to your own devices to figure how to apply it to your exact situation.

A coaching course provides regular meetings, held in an online group format, where you can discuss challenges you're encountering with the goals you're pursuing. Hearing other people get to grips with their own version supports you and enriches your understanding.
Coaching gets you there faster and lets you travel in style.
