The long road to Glorious
My story - Margarita Steinberg
I drew the short straw on growing up: I was raised by a grandmother whose affection for me was tainted by her trauma of having lived through two World Wars, and a father whose attitude to women is a tangled mess (however much he claims otherwise).
I have had to work hard, over many years, to hone my self-esteem, and dismantle the injunctions most women labour under: rate yourself as the lowest, don't ask too much.
I bear a debt of gratitude to feminist writers, and to brave women everywhere. My other debt of gratitude is to practical psychology for insights on how the internal landscape, our inner map of the world, can be re-written.
It is now my turn to support and guide. Speaking to the women around me, I have come to realise my triumphs were not just mine: the lessons I had learnt have value for others.
All my experience is now at your service.
